    A fresh westerly wave is affecting Balochistan and upper parts of the country from today (evening/night) and may persist for 12 to 18 hours.

Punjab

    Scattered rain with thundershower expected in upper Punjab including Islamabad from tonight, central parts may also have light rain at isolated places.

NWFP: 

Rain/thundershower with snowfall over the hills is expected at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara and Peshawar divisions  during next 24 hours.

   

Sindh:

    Dry weather expected in most parts of the province during next few days.

 

Balochistan:

  Isolated rain with thundershower expected in the province during next 24.

 

Kashmir & Gilgit-Baltistan:

Synoptic Situation/Outlook:

                   

    Prevailing westerly is still effecting the upper parts of NWFP, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir. A fresh westerly wave is likely to enter Balochistan from tomorrow and may persist 24 to 36 hours in the province and approach the upper parts of the country from Sunday evening/night and may persist for 12 to 18 hours.

Punjab

    Scattered rain with thundershower expected in upper Punjab including Islamabad from 28th evening/night, central parts may also have light rain at isolated places.

NWFP: 

Rain/thundershower with snowfall over the hills is expected in Malakand, Hazara and Peshawar divisions  for next 24 hours and again from 28th evening widespread Rain with snowfall over the hills likely to continue intermittently for another 24 to 36 hours.

   

Sindh:

    Dry weather expected in most parts of the province during next few days,

 

Balochistan:

Outlook:

    A westerly weather system likely to affect Balochistan from 4th February 2010(Evening) and during next 24 hours it extend to other parts of the country.

       

Islamabad:

    Cold and dry weather likely during next 24 hours. However rain with thunderstorm expected in period during 05th to 8th February 2010.

       

Punjab: 

    Mainly cold & dry weather is expected in province during next 24 -36 hour. However Scattered rain with snowfall over the hills likely in most parts of the province during 05th to 8th February 2010.

 

NWFP:
