  According to Meteorological Analysis a strong westerly wave is likely to affect the upper parts of the country during next 24 hours. Due to interaction between westerly weather system and monsoon currents approaching from Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal, weather conditions are as follows:

Islamabad & Punjab:  

Widespread Thunderstorm-Rain, with isolated heavy rainfall, is expected in the province during next 24-36 hours and decrease thereafter. Islamabad is also likely to receive, heavy down pour along with Thundershowers, particularly on Thursday morning.

 Kashmir & Northern Areas: 

Widespread Thunderstorm-Rain, with isolated heavy falls, is expected in above mentioned areas during next 24-48 hours and decrease thereafter. 

 NWFP: 

Widespread Dust-Thunderstorm-Rain is expected in the province during next 24-36 hours.
