Synoptic Situation: A shallow westerly wave is affecting the extreme upper parts of the country while continental air is prevailing over other parts of the country. According numerical weather prediction models another westerly wave is likely to affect the upper parts of the country from 25th March (Night) and to persist for 36-48 hours. Weather Forecast: Mainly Dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, however there are slight chances of Isolated rainfall of light intensity in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and upper NWFP during next 24 hours and again on 25-26 March. Dust-Thunderstorm is also expected in plains of upper Punjab and upper NWFP on 25-26 March. |
