Flood Warning for Sindh-5 (update)
RED ALERT: Imminent Extreme Flood Threat to Sindh
Analysis of current hydrological data indicates that Sindh specially areas along the Indus River would be badly affected due to extremely high flood conditions in the Indus River. Bund breaches at many places in under mentioned in Sindh very likely.
Mithon Kot: Exceptionally high flood presently passing from Mithon Kot. The peak of flood water discharge, ranging between 9,00,000 to 10,00,000 cusecs at Mithon Kot is likely to be sustained flood for 48 hours due to the continued addition of flood flows from Punjnad. Trimmu present discharge is 2,29,275 cusecs at 6 a.m. today.
Guddu: The flood discharge of today at 11 a.m. reached 7,00,800 cusecs and expected to rise rapidly during next 24 hours and exceptionally high flood peak of 9-10 lac cusecs would reach Guddu in next 12-24 hours. Then this peak flood flows are likely to be sustained for 48 hours due to the continued addition of flood water from Jhelum & Channab rivers.
Inundation and riverins flooding in all low lying areas of District Ghotki (Tehsils Dahrki, Mirpur MathelUbauro, Khanpur Mahar & Ghotki) and District Kashmore (Tehsils Kashmore, Tangwani & Kandhkot)
Sukkur: The flood water at Sukkur today at 11 a.m is 3,35,000 cusecs and rising rapidly. The 48 hours extended sustained peak flood is expected to reach Sukkur on 7
th August, 2010.
Inundation and riverins flooding in all low lying areas of District Sukkur (Tehsils Sukkur, Rohri, Saleh Pat & Pano Aqil), Districts Shikarpur (Tehsils Garhi Yaseen, Khanpur, Lakhi & Shikarpur) and District Larkana (Tehsils Dokri, Bakrani, Larkana & Ratodero)
Kotri: The flood peak of 6-7 lac cusecs exceptionally high flood would pass from Kotri sometime on 10
th / 11th August, 2010.

Flood warning for Punjab-4 (UPDATE)
Imminent Extreme Flood Threat to Punjab
Current hydrological data indicate that Punjab especially areas along the Indus River are badly affected due to extremely high flood conditions in the Indus River.
Taunsa: Water discharge recorded at Taunsa on Wednesday evening at 1900 PST is 7,75,923 cusec, still ranging in exceptionally high flood category.
Mithon Kot: Exceptionally high flood ranging between 9,00,000 to 10,00,000 is presently passing from Mithon Kot. The peak of flood water discharge , ranging between 9,00,000 to 10,00,000 cusecs is expected at Mithon Kot tonight.
The flood water of Exceptionally high Flood level while traveling towards Guddu would cause inundation and riverin flood in all low lying areas of the region along River Indus

Imminent Extreme Flood Threat to Sindh
Analysis of current hydrological data depict that Sindh specially areas along the Indus River would be badly affected due to extremely high flood conditions in the Indus River.
Mithon Kot: Exceptionally high flood ranging between 9,00,000 to 10,00,000 is presently passing from Mithon Kot. The peak of flood water discharge , ranging between 9,00,000 to 10,00,000 cusecs is expected at Mithon Kot tonight.
Guddu: The flood water at Guddu has started to rise gradually (5,65,884 cusecs on Wednesday evening). A peak of flood water ranging between 9,00,000-10,00,000 (Exceptionally high Flood level) would pass from Guddu sometime on 5/6th Aug, 2010.
Inundation and riverine flooding in all low lying areas of Districts Ghotki and Sukkur is imminent.
Sukkur: The flood water at Sukkur has also started rising gradually (2,74,122 cusec on Wednesday evening) and would attain exceptionally High Flood level of 9,00,000 to 10,00,000 cusecs sometime on 6/7th Aug, 2010.
Inundation & riverine flooding in all low lying areas of Districts of Sukkur , Larkana, Nawabshah, Dadu, Hyderabad, Naushero Feroz is very likely.
Kotri: The flood peak 6,00,000 to 7,00,000 Exceptionally High flood level will pass from Kotri sometime on 10/11th Aug, 2010.

Mithon Kot: At Miithon Kot flood water has started to rise gradually. The peak of flood water discharge expected at Mithon Kot, would range between 8,00,000 to 9,00,000 cusecs sometime on 4th Aug, 2010.
The flood water of Exceptionally high Flood level while traveling towards Guddu would cause inundation and riverin flood in all low lying areas of the region along River Indus

Mithon Kot: At Miithon Kot flood water has started to rise gradually. The peak water discharge, expected at Mithon Kot, would range between 8,00,000 to 9,00,000 cusecs sometime on 4th Aug, 2010.
Guddu: The flood water at Guddu has started to rise gradually (3,98,868 cusecs on Tuesday evening). A peak of flood water ranging between 8,00,000-9,00,000 (Exceptionally high Flood level) would pass from Guddu sometime on 5/6th Aug, 2010.
Inundation and riverine flooding in all low lying areas of Districts Ghotki and Sukkur is imminent.
Sukkur: The flood water at Sukkur would also start rising from 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 cusec (High Flood level) on 4th Aug, 2010 and would attain exceptionally High Flood level of 8,00,000 to 9,00,000 cusecs sometime on 6/7th Aug, 2010.
Inundation & riverine flooding in all low lying areas of Districts of Sukkur , Larkana, Nawabshah, Dadu, Hyderabad, Naushero Feroz is very likely.
Kotri: The flood peak 5,50,000 to 7,00,000 Exceptionally High flood level will pass from Kotri sometime on 10/11th Aug, 2010.

Imminent Extreme Flood Threat to Punjab
Current hydrological data indicate that Punjab especially areas along the Indus River would be badly affected due to extremely high flood conditions in the Indus River.
Taunsa: Flood peak of 10,39,000 cusecs has passed from Chashma on Saunday evening and is heading towards Taunsa now. Peak discharge is likely to range between 8,50,000-9,50,000 cusecs at night.
Mithon Kot: At Miithon Kot flood water of about 2,00,000 cusec would be added from Jhelum & Chenab rivers, whereas about 8,50,000-9,50,000 cusecs would reach from Taunsa.
The flood water of Exceptionally high Flood level of 9,50,000-10,00,000 cusecs while traveling to Mithon Kot would cause inundation and riverin flood in all low lying areas of District Bakhar, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, DG Khan and Rajanpur.

Analysis of current hydrological data depict that Sindh specially areas along the Indus River would be badly affected due to extremely high flood conditions in the Indus River.
Mithon Kot: Rivers Jhelum & Chenab will contribute about 2,00,000 cusecs of flood water to the Indus at Mithon Kot, already flowing with about 7,50,000-8,50,000 cusecs. The peak water discharge is expected today at this point will range between 9,00,000 and 10,00,000 cusecs.
Guddu: The flood water at Guddu would start rising from 5, 00,000 to 6, 00,000 cusec (High Flood ) on 03-08-2010 and peak of (9,00,000-10,00,000) would (Exceptionally high Flood level ) pass from Guddu sometime on 6/7th Aug, 2010.
Inundation and riverine flooding in all low lying areas of Districts Ghotki and Sukkur is imminent.
Sukkur: The flood water at Sukkur would also start rising from 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 cusec (High Flood level) on 4th Aug, 2010 and would attain exceptionally High Flood level of 9,00,000 to 10,00,000 cusecs on 7th Aug, 2010.

Current hydrological data indicate that Punjab especially areas along the Indus River would be badly affected due to extremely high flood conditions in the Indus River.
Taunsa:
Today(31-07.2010) 9,80,000 cusec of flood water is passing from Chashma and the flood water at Taunsa would likely to remain 8,50,000-9,50,000 during 1st to 3rd Aug, 2010.
Mithon Kot:
At Miithon Kot flood water of about 2,00,000 cusec would be added from Jhelum & Chenab rivers, whereas about 7,50,000-8,50,000 cusec would reach from Tunsa.

Tunnsa:
Today(31-07.2010) 9,80,000 cusec of flood water is passing from Chashma and the flood water at Taunsa would likely to remain 8,50,000-9,50,000 during 1st to 3rd Aug, 2010.
Mithon Kot:
At Miithon Kot flood water of about 2,00,000 cusec would be added from Jhelum & Chenab rivers, whereas about 7,50,000-8,50,000 cusec would reach from Tunsa.

The flood water at Sukkur would also start rising to 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 cusec (High Flood level) on 4th Aug, 2010 and would attain exceptionally High Flood level of 9,00,000 to 10,00,000 cusecs on 7th Aug, 2010.
Inundation & riverine flooding in all low lying areas of Districts of Sukkur , Larkana, Nawabshah, Hyderabad, Nausheroferoze is imminent.
Kotri:
The flood peak 7,00,000 to 8,00,000 Exceptionally High flood level pass from Kotri around on 11th Aug, 2010.
