About PakMet

PakMet covers Pakistani housing societies, plot buying, legal verification, and construction, written to be genuinely useful rather than a rewritten developer brochure.

Why this site exists

Most real estate content in Pakistan falls into one of two categories: developer marketing dressed up as an article, or generic "how to buy property" advice copied across dozens of near-identical sites. Neither actually helps someone trying to figure out whether a specific housing society is legitimate, what a payment plan actually costs month to month, or what questions to ask before signing anything. PakMet was built to close that gap.

What we cover

  • Buying and investing, comparing plots against apartments, understanding what actually drives value in a Lahore or Islamabad location, and avoiding the common traps in outskirts pricing.
  • Verification and legal status, checking whether a housing society's NOC is genuine, spotting the warning signs of an illegal scheme, and confirming a specific property before you pay anything.
  • Registration and documentation, the actual paperwork for property registration, mutation, stamp duty, and transfer, explained without the runaround.
  • Construction, realistic cost breakdowns, what separates a turnkey build from self-managed construction, and what actually goes into a grey structure versus a finished house.
  • Societies and projects, specific, currently-active housing schemes with real payment plans, block-by-block breakdowns, and an honest read on where each one genuinely fits.

How we work

Every guide is written from primary sources, official developer payment plans, regulatory authority records, and direct site research, not paraphrased from other blogs. When a detail can't be verified or a scheme's status is genuinely unclear, we say so directly rather than smoothing it over.

We're not a real estate agency and don't take commissions to feature or rank any specific society. Where we do point you toward a contact channel for a specific scheme, that's disclosed clearly.
